Next we come to the booth of The great Herbert Thomas the third, and Chris Galbreath, both from Germantown Tennessee. Also sharing their booth was Mike Sanders and Matt Hart. I can't quite recall how I met Herbert and Chris, but it's been a real pleasure. I met Matt there at the 09' National for the first time, but I already knew him a little from Net54 ( www.Net54Baseball.com ). Very sharp individual, knows American folk art antiques. Their booth was kind of the fun central hang out place. They sure seem to know a lot of people. Herbert's eBay handle is one I'll never forget "garbagecoon"...Only a good'ol boy would have that name! Chris sells on eBay under two user names. Under his historicimages01 handle he sells mostly vintage sports photos. Under his other handle edmphotos, he is liquidating vintage sports photo negatives of the Chicago Sun Times. Both Chris and Herbert often collaborate on these and other projects.

FBMuffLeft.JPG (654001 bytes)Last up in Herbert fbmuffrt.jpg (636706 bytes) and Chris' booth was this  c1910 football look-a-like hand muff. I'd seen illustrations of girls wearing these at football games, but this is the only one I've seen in person. Herbert offered it to me for I think it was $150.00 so I went for it, and am glad I did.
