Everyone had a great time at the 8th annual net54baseball.com National dinner. Free food, free drinks, good camaraderie...what's not to like? I ran out of space on my camera's memory card just as the speakers started...so there went a half hour straightening that out. By the time I got back to my seat all ears were glued listening to one of the speakers Josh Evans of Leland's. It was a mighty speech...Josh said a lot...forgoing the controversial, Josh defended his selling of Roberto Clemente plane crash parts. Someone asked him a practical question, what fleas he shops...Someplace called Germantown he said. In another part of his speech he talked about the time he lost a lot of money in an airport and got it back. And then it was off to the free buffet and drinks. Net56Baseball.com's owner Leon Luckey is a great host to provide all that. He's certainly an asset to the hobby. Below are shots of the evening.
